Should I move to Ohio where my ex lives, so our son can be closer to his father? I currently live in Texas.?

I kinda want to because I think it is important for my son to be close to his papa. However, I live in TX with my current boyfriend, whom I'm pretty serious with, and he does not want to move. He has a great job and plans on staying there until he retires. He makes good money. Also, I hate Texas (it is too hot and dry) and Columbus is so much prettier in my opinion. The only thing that is holding me in TX is him, all of my family have since moved out of state. I'm so torn what to do? I grew up without my father and it sucked, I don't want to do that to my son. Anyone have any similar dillemas, and if so, what did you decide? To add, I just finished grad school to become a licensed professional counselor, and will have to take that into consideration, if I do transfer. Also, jobs in Columbus might be a little tighter than in Houston, TX (which is a huge city). But then again, I really do love my boyfriend and feel that he is my soul mate. He is so good to me..that's what makes this especially hard
